Julie Faulks

B. App sc. Phty,1979  Masters  Health Sc (Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapy)2001, National Bounce back instructor trainer (2009)
Having been in  private practice physiotherapy for over 30 years, owner and operator of Proactive Physiotherapy, Julie has many interests and too many passions in the field to list in a short précis. Her philosophy, however, has remained constant and that is to provide quality hands on assessment and treatment in a caring, friendly and professional manner to the highest standard possible. To educate and provide education and self management techniques and assist clients to be proactive in the treatment of their musculoskeletal conditions. To provide guidance to clients so that they can improve their general health and fitness as well as their quality of life. Intervention and prevention in treatment of physical problems, is based around the understanding of patient goals and formulating a plan to achieve those goals between the treating therapist and the injured person.

The desire to always give the patient the best has meant 30 years of continuing education to remain updated and always offer the patient the best of what is available.

Her manipulative Masters in early 2000, took her manual musculoskeletal skills to a much higher level. Although her major thesis involved extensive gain of knowledge base in treatment of the neck and jaw pain and headaches, Julie prefers to acknowledge her special areas as encompassing the whole spine from the hips to the head.

Julie recently completed her training to teach bounce back instructors their core stability training throughout Australia..
Julie believes in a healthy and happy life, and believes doing it is the best way to inspire her patients. She exercises regularly. Her sports passion of the moment is outrigging. Her constant passion is travel (absolutely anywhere).
